Box Select

Here is another quality of life feature in Databricks Code Editor: Box Select.

Box Select is something I first encountered over 15 years ago in the good old SAS Windowing Environment. I do regulary use it in Databricks to. Basically it allows you to select a rectangle in the Code, which makes copy & pasting sections of code or data very comfortable.

This is directly from the docs:

• On macOS, press Shift + Option and drag to the lower right to capture one or more columns.
• On Windows, press Shift + Alt and drag to the lower right to capture one or more columns.
