I’ve been selected as a Databricks MVP.
The notification came in while I was on vacation, standing on a beach on the danish baltic coast and brought the starfish back to the sea 😃
Sharing what I know has been part of how I work for as long as I can remember. Early on it meant helping the person at the next desk. Later it meant building teams and bringing people along. Over the past year and a half, I made that a habit online too, writing about Databricks the way I actually use it in the field and what I learn along the way.
I didn’t get here on my own. Zoë Can Noppen, Maksim Pachkouski and Hubert Dudek encouraged me throughout this journey, along with so many others in the community. Thank you.
So what is changing now for me? Basically nothing. It’s a reason to keep doing more of what got me here: sharing honestly, helping where I can, and staying close to the real problems practitioners are solving on the Lakehouse.
More to come.
