ABOUT SNOWGLOBE
MARTIN DEBUS
Martin Debus founded SNOWGLOBE in 2022 as a boutique consultancy specializing in Azure Databricks. He has been using Azure Databricks since 2018 to build scalable data ecosystems.
Martin began his career as a Data Analyst at Bauer Media Group in 2008. From 2011 to 2022, he built and led the Data & Analytics team at EDEKA, Germany’s largest grocery retailer. During this time, he scaled the team and technology from a proof of concept to over 20 members, developed an on-premise data platform, and later spearheaded its migration to the cloud.
He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Computer Science from the University of Applied Sciences Stralsund, where he graduated in the top 5% of his class.
